It's definitely altered the track. Had they not been ending it, we prolly would've seen a sister vs sister track in full swing.
However, I feel the CVs being true to their colors have brought in some very interesting twists. They just need to stay strong and build these tracks.
SJ falling for Devyani is interesting given how she's older than him (I think) and also a soon-to-be-divorced woman with two older married sons.
Uttara's pregnancy is another really interesting track. They can build on it really well. In real life, there are many unwanted pregnancies, and are treated in a myriad of ways ranging from out and out hatred to acceptance with love and understanding. They can show all these colors here and that child's struggle also.
Brahma should be brought back. How, in what avatar, in what manner, I dunno. But he was an Ace here. And needs to be brought back. They need him to keep in teh show going, in my opinion.
So, I don't think it's destroyed the show, but I do feel the sudden death, and then extension, has altered the course significantly and the CVs have to hunt for tracks. Something they never had to do before.
But I have faith in them.
