Problem with the annoying private message toolbox.

I am having problems with dealing with PM message tool box. When ever I arrive at IF it says that I received (number) private message which I am fine dealing with. It takes me to my inbox however that message continues to annoy me even in inbox through which i am not able to view my messages properly. Is it possible to remove that annoying message box so that I can view my messages properly?

tht happens 2 me sumtyms, it always keeps popping up... bt i find if i log of from IF, delete cookies, refresh the page and sign in2 IF agen, tht problem doesn't occur
