If you notice, Jaya & Vijaya marked the different Yugas. The Hiranya brothers were in the Satya Yuga, Ravan & Kumbhakarna in the Treta Yuga and Sishupala & Dantavatra in the Dwapar Yuga. Although none of their deaths (except Hiranyakashipu's by coincidence) marked the end of the yuga - Rama ruled for ~11000 years after the death of Ravan, and the Dwapar yuga continued for a while after Dantavatra's death.

Sorry- the first avatar of Lord Vishnu in the Treta Yuga would be Vamana Avatara - not Parashurama.
Actually even according to DKDM's abysmal sense of timings, they should have shown the Treta Yuga as starting when Lord Shiva took the Sharabha avatar to quell Narasimha's anger -
