This is adi shakti's original roop Kali avtar but she took form of parwati to be Shiv's Consort his wife as she took birth from Mena Devi the Himalayan Queen, she was black but she did tapasya and from rishi brighu or Rishi Dhadeechi she got var that she be gori fair from there onwards her name also was Gauri

Even shiv used to be scared of This form of Chandi or Kali because this is her original roop and once when she was in her true form even SHiv was so scared that he ran away from her to save himself I dont know if this was shown in DKDM
