Hi as i am non Hindu and have never watched Ramayan track,before,and like to see the whole part.the trps didnt drop by Ramayan track.cos me too stop watching when Ramayan track was stopped.I think the trps dropped when Andhak track was induced.want to see Rubina as Sita and Piyush as Rama.dont disspoint me.

Well, you got your wish. Today, they showed the remainder of the Ramayan in the ME - starting from the vanvas, where they last left off, and ending w/ Rama's rajyabhishek.

After the haphazard way in which Zee/Sagar Pictures' Ramayan was shown, I liked the consistent pace of today's Ramayan, and them showing the important Mahadev centric events that happened. Rama's meeting w/ Hanuman, Hanuman discovering Sita & terrorizing Lanka, Rama's establishment of the Rameshwaran Jyotirlingam (really, the main, if not the only reason to show him in this serial), Mahadev explaining to Rama what he needed to do, Rama & Lakshman killing Kumbhakarna, Indrajit & Ravan, and finally, Rama & Sita being crowned @ Ayodhya.

Some bloopers I thought they had - Sita wearing closed slippers when she crossed the Lakshman rekha - she's normally shown barefeet, and in the Rama-Ravan fight, Rama had no chariot, and they fought a ground battle. There was no proper introduction of the Mareech episode, and Shurpanakha, who was prominent previously, was completely forgotten. But the biggest one was Indra expressing concern when Ravan abducted Sita. How is the deva who got Manthara to give Rama vanvas now concerned about the sanctity of Sita? Indra should have rooted for it, as it drove Ravan closer to his death.

Anyway, I congratulate DkDM for giving the Ramayan track a proper finish, even if it was a mere one episode.

Better watch some other show that is about Ramayan. DKDM Ramayan was the worst handled one I'd ever seen. Even this ME was bad. If you consider it a rushed wrap up, still it was bad and almost a joke. Such fiascos are a shame for any serial. I am shocked why DKDM team chose to start Ramayan if they had to mess up like this.

Though I agree it was fine to at least end it. Irrespective of their bloopers.

Mixed feelings but i think it is oke it ended, it is sad wishh it was longer but we can't forget this show is about Mahadav. Ram and Sita are so important characters, it is difficult to show them when the show is about mahadev. I'm glad they give it as nice conclusion and didn't left loose ends, and left us wondering where are Ram and Sita, because they are so importants characters and deserve respect in mine opinion. Wish all the Rayaman actors all the best, hope to see them back on screen soon also all the best to the remaining characters.

I actually preferred this condensed version in one episode there was no need to go so long winded and put mahadev in everywhere in the first place. Because I know the Ramayan I don't mind this version even if its not perfect but if you don't know the Ramayan story then watch a Ramayan based serial that's shows more detail.

Catch the maha episode today. It was concise, to the point, and explained well. If you want more in-depth, I am sure you can buy the old Ramayan DVD's or I think there is one airing on Zee tv- weekly.

Im not too sure about the TRPs falling or not, but Mahadev is primarily a "Mahadev" centric show, and even my family and I skipped the episodes on Ramayan...perhaps we know the story thats why, but for me, it didnt work...I personally liked the Andhak track...

I am just happy that they didn't leave Ramaya open-ended but rather finished it today on Dusshera.

Whatever was earlier shown as DKDM's version of Ramayan, I'll give them credit that at least they didn't leave the story incomplete. Also, thankfully, the Rameshwaram jyotirling was covered too.

The old Ramayan is available on DVDs. Or you could always catch it up online.

Regarding yesterday's episode, I was surprised that the construction of Ram setu wasn't shown. I know the story and all, but since it was a Dussehra ME, they could've shown a few seconds of the Ram setu being constructed. Or maybe it would've used too much screen-time, I don't know.

But one thing they they could've DEFINITELY shown - A few more seconds of Hanuman burning Lanka, and then the flashback of the earlier episode in DKDM in which Nandi cursed Ravan that a "vaanar" would burn down Lanka, and Ravan recalling that particular curse as he sees Lanka burning down.

Also, Sita's agnipariksha was conspicuously missing in yesterday's episode. I know it's a controversial issue as such, but ONLY for DKDM, the agnipariksha could've been shown as Vrinda's DKDM curse to Vishnu materializing itself. But since all that wasn't shown, will Vrinda's DKDM curse to Vishnu materialize itself at all? Any takers for Uttar Kand now?

One more question - has DKDM finally crossed into Dwapar Yuga now? Or will it happen only after the Aghori track finishes?

one more thing..

if the show is ending... then by completing ramayan in one ME and airing another ME on 27th... these people are gonna bring DKDM to a close conclusion.. i just wish they dont do that...
