Surya, with Sanskrit the story can be more authentic. In English translations at times somemeaning changes too. Though none of the translations can be called very authentic but they give us idea about the story.
Last night I looked for M-M, in the above link, but couldn't find them. The 2nd part is about Lalita devi 's army fighting with Bhandasra, who was made from Kamdev's ash as a doll, was a powerful demon. This story gets over before Shivji's marriage to Parvati, which happened in Sat Yuga. Mahadev is not involved in this war, infact with Lalita Devi is paired with Lord Kameshwar.
1st part has mention of Bhadrakali but not the way shown n DKDM.
