a doubt..

i had been thinking of this for quite some time now... have any of you noticed, right after somethng bad happens in a house, like a death or something, the members immidiately changes into whites...

every one seems to be having a set of white dress ready at any point of time in their life... and i dont ever see them wearing white at any other occasion... so how is it possible? it happens only in the soaps? or in real life too??

Happens in real life tooooooo........... u always have a set of white dress not only for ocassions like death but ppl like to have one

but no one is seen wearing them usually, so i was just curious..

well plp do keep one pair of white dress cuz may be if some close death occurs then u need to wear white... recently one of our relatives died and my mum and dad were looking for white dress befre she died cuz the doc told them that there is no hop in the caes and the pt will die today or tomorrow.... so its good to have a white dress ... and no its not usual to were whtie in daily life cuz whtie symbolize death in hindu so that's why u will hardly see plp wearing complete white saree or anthhing else... u can were designer white saree in any funtions but u cannot were those designer white think in death . it has to be plain white as far as my knowledge is concern.

Yes, most people have one white/cream outfit for funerals.
