On 8th October 2013, when I was completely new to the forum, a very dear friend of mine, Vandana di (vandana.sagar), recommended me your story. And the scrap went something like this:
"You have to read SAY...I love Farah!..."
And the praise she showered upon you and the story, I, for sure, knew that I had to, had to read this piece of art and that it definitely could not be missed. And sure enough, this story has been as exciting as the way she had told it to be.
I loved everything from the beginning to the end of this wonderful fiction and it felt like watching IPK all over again, with of course, a different storyline and subtle changes in a few characters. But what I loved the most was how you had so beautifully and effortlessly weaved the memorable dialogues from the show to your own story and how aptly they had fit into every situation and that is undoubtedly nothing short of brilliance.
And if this was intended as a tribute to the show that ended almost 2 years back, then trust me when I say, this was perfect. And while I am quite sorry for myself that I couldn't get to be one of the live readers at the time you were writing SAY, I am grateful nonetheless for having read this story. And of course, from the author's notes that you left for your readers to read before and after every chapter, I've somewhat figured out how much you loved the show so as to have written a complete story with 78 chapters, an epilogue and two OSes.
There's definitely something about you Farah, that readers like us don't find the exact words to say how much SAY means to us!
And here's to SAY, to you, to Red, to ASR and to all the other lovely characters - I love you dammit!
