Most of our TV stars aim at big banner films as everybody's ultimate goal is to reach the Bollywood industry.

However, we recently came across an actor who thinks otherwise. Pooja Singh, better known as Emily of Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi ' Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd) does not want to get into Bollywood at all. In fact she loves the small screen and wants to make it big here.

"I love being a part of the television industry," says the chirpy actress who has earlier been associated with shows like Aasman Se Aage, Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali and Aaj Ki Housewife Hai 'Sab Jaanti Hai.

Furthermore, the actress was simultaneously shooting for both Housewife and Diya Aur Baati, and that is when she chose to stay on with the latter show, and leave the other. Talking about it, she states, "My role inHousewife was an easy going character while the other one was pretty challenging. Since I personally like challenges, I chose to stay here."

The pretty lass has also been putting in a lot of hard work in her role in this Shashi Sumeet Mittal show as she avers, "It's not like somebody is asking me to put extra effort in every scene that I shoot for. But I like doing that as I know that this is the best show and I want to be the best here."

Talking about her further plans she says, "I would not want to do a film, but I would want to see myself in a lead role in a TV serial someday."

Lastly, on her personal life, the actress explains, "I have been concentrating on work at the moment and I don't think I need a boyfriend yet, as I have a lot of friends around me."
