New to Thendral - can anyone clarify...

Hi friends, I started watching thendral recently.. I
do have a main doubt..
Is thulasi, deepa and kalyani are classmates or
friends of same age..
In that case, they are married to thulasi's
younger brothers.. how come?

Ramy, Welcome to the forum. It is possible Thulasi could be older than her friends. She could not do education for around two yrs as her father refused to spend for her studies. But her grandmother sold some jewellery to do tyhe needful for her education. Thus it is possible Deepa is younger to her by two yrs. But I don't know about Kalyani. It is definitely possible Kalyani is older than Mohan. Kalyani calls Mohan at times Inge vaada' (and not 'varunga') authoritatively and Mohan doesn't mind that. Thus anything is possible. Is it a rule that the wife has to be younger to the husband?
